Churches of Christ Golden Age Aged Care Service is a 94-bed residential service offering a range of personal care, therapies and accommodation options.
It is located at Southport in the heart of the Gold Coast. The well-established service includes respite accommodation. It has been fully renovated and is tastefully furnished with comfortable lounge and dining areas for residents and their guests.
The service is co-located with Churches of Christ Care Golden Aged Retirement Village, Southport.
Common areas
There is a large dining room/lounge for 40-50 people with a piano, which opens on to an outdoor courtyard with a gazebo, table/chairs and barbecue. Residents have a choice of three smaller lounges, two with televisions and outside access and one with a kitchenette and tables/chairs. Residents and visitors can enjoy a covered outdoor area at the entry with sails, seating, water features and large pot plants. There is a potting room with benches for resident use. A large chapel, which accommodates 100+ people is available for worship, celebrations and other activities.
